Launch BST-360 BST360 Bluetooth Battery Tester  

LAUNCH BST360 Car Bluetooth Battery Tester is a new generation of 6V/12V lead-acid battery test clip that supports Bluetooth wireless communication. It is used for measuring the actual Cold Cranking Ampere(CCA) of the car starter battery, analyzing the battery health, and detecting the starting system and the charging system of the car.

Launch BST-360 Main Functions 

  • BST360 can directly test the loss of power battery, no need to be fully charged first and tested.
  • Start System Test: Determine the required starting current and starting voltage of the starter. 
  • Charge status test: examine the car’s charging system, including generators, rectifiers, rectifier diodes, etc.
  • Battery condition test: analyze the condition of the car battery, calculate the CCA and determine the degree of aging of the battery. 
  • BST360 using the newest Bluetooth technology to detecth te car battery, after connecting the car battery you can open the app on your phone/tablet
  • The test report can be sent as a PDF file (on LAUNCH X431 Tablet) or Picture (on your phone/other tablets) by Bluetooth to everywhere you want and print.
  • Can check the overall health of the battery, including the cranking test, and run a complete system charging test, and remind you to replace the discarded battery in time. 
  • Supports all 6 volt and 12 volt lead-acid batteries: like normal flooded batteries, AMG start-stop batteries, gel start-stop batteries (GEL), EFP start-stop batteries (EFP). In addition, it supports the most commonly used battery standards: CCA, DIN, JIS, EN, IEC, AH, SAE and BCI. 

How to use Launch Battery Tester :

1). First clamp the BLACK and clips of the battery tester on the Negative (-) and Positive (+) terminals of the vehicle battery respectively.

2). Open BST360 App.

3). In the pop-up Bluetooth list, select the Bluetooth name (starting with BST360xxx) of the battery tester to be paired.

4). After pairing, it can be used normally.

NOTE:

  • Launch-specific: The LAUNCH X431 Scanner needs to be equipped with the BST360 module.
  • Phone: Go to Google play (for Android) or App Store (for iOS) and input “BST360″ in the search bar to download and install it.

Charging Health Test
This function mainly detects and analyzes the vehicle charging system, including the generator, rectifier, rectifier diode, etc. Through this test, we can know whether the output voltage of the generator, the rectifier diode, and the charging current is normal or not respectively.

Start System Test
It is mainly to detect and analyze the starting motor, and detect the actual starting current and starting voltage required by the starting motor, so as to judge whether the starting motor is normal or not.

Battery Health Test
It is used to analyze the health status of the automobile battery, calculate the actual cold starting ability of the battery, judge the aging degree of the battery, and provide a reliable analysis basis for the test and maintenance of the battery.
